Good Old Days ll – Picnic Area

OK, another one in the series. A similar area to the last comparison photo’s. You are stood on the circle of Grass at the rear of the cafe and looking towards the picnic area next to the car park.

You can see the seating benches in exactly the same position. So you know the position is right. In 1994 (and before) the view looked like the first picture. Following the development of the picnic area by the Friends of Sandall Park the view is just a little different.

Some would have us believe that the old depot building was preferable to the picnic area.
