Family Planning!
Last Year we had our usual two black swans and they produced one cygnet that stood the course – ‘Lucky’. And a very fine specimen s/he grew up to be.
With it so far? Good. We now have a situation where two of the black swans are sitting on two nests – now THAT is what you call happy families!
How on earth can we cope (never mind them) if we have two broods of cygnets to try and protect?

We as a family love the park and the birds that live there particularly the swans they are adorable. But it has to be said that the park and its residents are very lucky to have a couple running the FOSP who work so hard with loads of energy and enthusiasm for the good of the park and the community even when some of the community dont deserve it
so public please report vandals.
