Cygnet Update

All three cygnets are still with us and doing well.

The one with a poorly leg does appear to be improving and is moving better when on land.

We did have reports that the cygnet that had a hook in its mouth had now got rid of it. This is probably not the case. As you can see from this photo taken this morning, there still is fishing line coming out of its mouth but it does appear to be eating OK.

They are certainly getting bigger. Their main problem is still dogs off leads. Yet again in the last five days we have had to tell people to put their dogs on leads in the duck area – amazingly one couple did not even have a lead……. and their dog promptly chased the ducks. !*%!*!.
