Let The Kids Have a Say!
Sandall Park is in line to get some great play equipment in the park and it would be great if the kids and parents had their say on what the equipment should be like.
A consultation event for the Playbuilder project will be held in Sandall Park on Sunday 5th July from 12 noon – 4pm. There will be a display set up with a plan of the site and lots of photos of different types of play equipment /areas.
The idea is to ask the public, mainly children, what types of play they enjoy, what they think might be suitable for the park, what may be different to or more exciting for them and where abouts they think it should go. The project is aimed at 8-14 year olds.
A substantial amount of money is being made available from the Government and Sandall Park has been identified of one of the sites for development that will be completed by March 2010
