Care to Run Planning On Target

Planning for one of the parks premier events is well under way. The Aurora 5k Care to Run will take place at 10.30am Sunday 6th September to raise funds for the Aurora Centre.

Last year attracted more than 600 runners/walkers/jumpers. This year the start will be on the old golf course and the event will launch the opening of the completed golf course project funded by the Big Lottery Fund and Community Spaces.

The course on the day will be marshalled by the Friends of Sandall Park and we are keen to hear from anyone who would be willing to help us marshall the event. This is not a difficult task but is very important to the success of the event.
