Big Thanks to the Fakefaces

At the Care to Run event no one could have failed to see the beaming faces of Mr Bean, Pavarotti and Cliff Richard. They gave special Sandall Park chocolate away and posed endlessly for photo’s.

What most people did not realise is that they volunteered their services free of charge and stayed the entire day to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves.

So, on behalf of everyone at the event and especially from the Friends of Sandall Park we would like to say a massive thank you to Beany, Pav and Cliff and hopefully we will see you at the Sandall Park Rockfest next May.

Ps: I think Carolyn Hodgson was the most realistic – but don’t take it personally!
