DCRP Cheque Received – Thanks

Last night (Thursday 17th) saw the Friends of Sandall Park receive a cheque at an awards ceremony from the Doncaster Community Recycling Partnership (DCRP).

The cheque has allowed us to purchase cloth shopping bags with our logo and a serious message on them – “THE PARK IS FANTASTIC SO TAKE HOME YOUR PLASTIC“. This being reference to the number of people that come to the park to feed the ducks and then leave plastic bread wrappers in the lake that have in fact killed and injured  some the ducks they have just fed.

A very big thank you to the DCRP for this generous sponsorship and also for the good work you have done over the years.
