You Were Magnificent!

Well there we have it! All that planning and the big event came and the weather was perfect. What a fantastic sight.

Yes we planned it to be good – and yes it was – in fact it was better than that. 300 runners turned out for a great celebration in the park. The main aim was to raise lots of money for the Aurora Centre but we also managed to celebrate the completion of our golf course project. We are sure a lot of money was raised and we also managed celebrate in style!

Carolyn Hodgson (YTV Fame) was at hand to hand well deserved medals to all the runners as well as to cut our cake to signal the end of the golf course project.

Mr Bean, Pavarotti and Cliff Richard were there to help the fun on its way. Here are just a quick selection of photo’s from the event, we will publish even more shortly (when we have got our breath back!)
