It will deter the less desirables in the park. I bring my young grand children to the park and dont want them to be confronted by these people. I don't believe installation of CCTV would deter these people, quite the opposite. The only people not wanting this will be criminals themselves and those with concerns about civil liberties. It can only be good for the park.
