Thanks Anon – Bird Saved

Just when you begin to think that no one cares, you get to know that actually loads of people do.

Our thanks to ‘Anon’ who managed to rescue this Great Tit that had managed to get its wings caught in fishing line. Clearly there are issues here about the disposal and use of fishing equipment. Thanks for the picture. The bird was released unharmed.

Also can we thank everyone for the overwhelming feedback and support we have had about the swan that was killed on Sunday. Again it is clear that the decent park visitors have been horrified by events and have been coming up with suggestions about what action can be taken to prevent this happening again. Watch this space – we will keep you informed.
