Answer Please?
I should have asked this one on the quiz night – it’s certainly got me stumped!
Our photographer Derrick Bewell has taken this picture in the park. It looks like some sort of nest – but what sort we do not have a clue so if anyone has any ideas we would be delighted to hear them.

Looks like either a blue tit or posibly a chaffinch. Without seeing it I can’t tell which but both make nests tight to the main branch.
my thoughts are to a longtail tit. Blue tits are usualy in a hole and a chaffinch is normaly against a tree trunk. the tree in question is a short distance from the left hand corner of the small car park on its own and a young tree.
