This Time Last Year…….

This time last year the black swans were first seen sat on their nest. It turned out to be a false dawn as the weather then turned icy and they abandoned their nest.

This year is even more important than usual because the (hopefully) mating pair of swans are together for the first time. Remember one was lost during last summer and strangely another one appeared out of nowhere!

If anyone does see a swan on a nest please let us know and we can start the Swan Blog for 2010.
