Grassroots Grant Buys More Bags

Friends of Sandall Park have again been awarded funding by the Doncaster Central Development Trust, under the Grassroots Grants Programme, to purchase more of the highly popular shopping bags with our logo on.

Many of our park visitors will already have been handed a free bag by members of FOSP. It has proved a great way for us to get to talk to park visitors and it allows us to get the message out that plastic bags (usually brought with bread to feed the ducks) should be taken away from the park.
