New Trees Planted

It always attracts attention (and comment) when trees are cut down. Normally there is a reason for such action – in the case of Playbuilders area the trees were in fact diseased and had to come down anyway.

Whenever possible FOSP try and plant more trees in the park if any are taken down. Six years ago many will remember the high winds that devastated many areas and brought down many trees in the park including an entire copse on the old golf course. As part of the golf course project an entire new copse of trees has this week been planted along with many other substantial trees in that area of the park.
