Almost Everyone Had a Great Weekend!

What a fantastic weekend – not just the Fakefest but the weather and the fact that even visitors who did not go into the Fakefest still sat nearby with picnics listening to the music while the kids played. Brilliant.

No – there were a couple of people who had a rather poor weekend because we’ve been warning dog owners for ages about picking up after their dog. We even give away free kits for goodness sake and still they did not pick up. The result was a couple of fixed penalty tickets issued by the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).

We shouldn’t gloat over other peoples misfortunes but we can’t help but think  “I told you so”. Well done the SNT. The good news is that it is quite evident that most people do pick up after their dogs so targeting those that don’t should be even easier!
