Rounders: Solicitors Vs Bankers!
Today saw a full scale rounders match on the old golf course when two highly trained, highly skilled 2012 Olympic bound (almost) rounders teams came head to head in a challenge match.
The result was that the bankers narrowly beat the solicitors even with a few ‘ringers’. A great time was had by all (even taking account of the injuries sustained).
Our Thanks to the staff of both Taylor Bracewell Solicitors and the Yorkshire Bank for choosing our park for such a prestigious game!
The fitness equipment came in handy for the warm up routine!

Thanks to Don and Sandra for making it easy to access for free the rounders equipment and pitch available at Sandall Park. Also for their support on the night with Don’s rounders skills and Sandra’s photography. We all had a great time. Be warned that if you take on Yorkshire Bank they are very competitive – watch out for their backstop and first base!! Team Taylor Bracewell lost but with great spirit and are open to take on other teams wanting a game.
Brill loved every minute, 1st round bowler!
