Dying for a Drink

Last year some of the smaller trees that were memorial trees were moved to the golf course area along Thorne Road to make way for the PlayBuilder project – they are the smaller ones towards the Wheatley Hotel end. There’s also a couple still left next to the Playbuilder project.

With the hot weather during the last few days these trees have shown signs of wilting and with the hot weather forecast for the next week , it would be great if someone could give them a hand by watering them. It would just take a few people with a couple of bottles of water each to help things along.

So, if you are walking your dog in the area please consider taking along a bottle of water and give them a chance to survive. Thanks.
