Music In the Park

The cancellation of the Proms in the Park Concert on Sunday 13th June was a huge blow to both ourselves and those who intended to attended the concert. The decision to cancel was clearly correct given that it rained heavily throughout the time the concert should have taken place.

It is therefore with great pleasure that we can announce that the Doncaster Concert Band will play again in the park on Sunday 12th September. Unfortunately we can’t put on the full flag waving jamboree that we had planned for the earlier concert but it will still be a great occasion – and again it is free to all.

Even better news is that Alexandra the electric violinist will also be making an appearance.
