This is What we are up Against……..

Remember the big notice board near the childrens playground? You know, the one with the pictures of how the park used to look and with information about events and things that have been on this web site?

Well today some ‘pond life dimwit’ decided to destroy it. All the pictures have been stolen and the glass to the notice board has been smashed. Are we bothered? Well yes actually. This notice board was the most popular in the park and a lot of visitors got a lot of pleasure from seeing it.

We could go down and replace the pictures and repair the glass now but why should we?  Let’s leave it for a bit and let the park visitors see what we have to put up with.

Someone, somewhere, knows who has done this. Let’s get them reported to the police for criminal damage and see some prosecutions (or at the very least cautions). All that they have achieved is causing volunteers extra work and expense. And for what? Come on folks – help us out here.
