We WILL Enjoy the Picnic!
Well following the cancellation of the concert we tried to inform as many people as possible. We were on Trax FM and doing live interviews on BBC Radio Sheffield. We put signs at each entrance and stayed around as long as we could to speak to people who did not get the message. The web site was updated by mobile phone as soon as we made decisions.
If you did not find out in advance about the cancellation – please accept our appologies and explanation. The good news is that some people came anyway and had their own little picnic (or in some cases not so little!).
To those who we spoke to thanks for coming anyway and enjoying the park facilities and thanks for being so understanding as to why we made the decision to cancel.
Thanks for putting our picture on the website! We extended our picnic by brining a gazebo over to keep the rain out of our wine, I mean food!! We all enjoyed our afternoon in the park and had a great game of rounders……..in the rain! So the decision to cancel the concert was the right one. We look forward to the re-scheduled concert in a few weeks. Keep up the good work!!!
