Two Sleeps to Fishing!
We understand some fishermen are getting a little excited…… OK a lot excited about fishing in Sandall Park again.
Who can blame them? There are not many fishing places where you can come and spend the day fishing while the kids enjoy the play facilities. Who’s more excited, the fishermen or the kids?
Expect to pay £3 for a day ticket to fish or pay just £24 for the whole year – you know it makes sense. We wish all responsible fishermen well and who knows the next ‘Twotone’ (the record carp that died last week) could be just one catch away in Sandall Park!
Not sure there are any 67lb plus fish in there but they are certainly into the 20’s.
Are there still pike present? heard a rumour they`d been removed.
As far as we are aware yes there are. There has certainly not been any organised removal of pike from the lake. FoSP found two quite big ones last year that been removed and killed on the lakeside.
