Yes we do know about the damage to the new fence on Barnby Dun Road – caused by a vehicle (but goodness only knows how!). It will be repaired – an insurance job with a bit of luck……..
At tonights FoSP meeting the winners of the 100 Club draw for April were as follows:
A. Smith (£30) S. Crabtree (£15); S. Stokes (£5)
Well done to all the winners and thanks for your Support.
Over the last week volunteers cleaning the toilets have had to remove soiled nappies from both the baby change facility and the disabled toilets – in spite of signs informing them that we do not have disposal facilities and a request for them to be taken home.
The very existence of toilets in the park is on a knife-edge and we need the support of everyone to make sure they are treated with respect and remain open. Toilets facilities are key to our park development strategy.
Every month we get dozens of phone calls that should be directed at the cafe. We do not deliver bacon butties or search for your property that may have been left in the cafe.
We realise there is a Facebook page for the cafe and yes it does give our phone number as theirs – but it’s not correct. There is apparently nothing we can do about the page.
107 completed yesterdays parkrun as it continues to be one of the most popular events in the park…. and it’s free!
Well done to everyone – especially the volunteers who make it happen – week after week after week……….
