More Trees Planted

Volunteers spent a full day in the park today planting trees supplied by the new angling club.

CIMG6096The donation came just at the right time to be planted along the new fence-line on Barnby Dun Road – where the hedge was removed last year.

18 trees in all made up of Beech, Maple and Holly – and pretty hard work it was too… but it’s all sorted now.

Fountain up and Running Again

The lake fountain has been causing a few problems lately – usuallywhen plastic bags get caught in the filter.

Fixing the fountain is not an easy task because it has to be pulled out and cleaned – certainly not a January job! we are therefore greatful to anglers, Scott, Lee and Dwain for there efforts this morning in not only cleaning the fountain but re-siting it where it is more beneficial to both anglers and the wildlife.

Thanks guys – great job in testing weather conditions.
