The Friends of Sandall Park now have possession of this training kit for training people in the use of CPR.
We will be working with local groups – particularly those who use the park for sporting purposes.
If you haven’t tried our tree trail yet – you should. It’s free and it’s a great way to have a look around the park.
You can have a look at the tree trail on-line by CLICKING HERE.
You can download the free App and track the tree’s around the park.
Out of the sad events at the parkrun recently there has at least been some good. Thanks to the kindness and support of fellow parkrunners enough has been raised to provide a defibrillator for the park. Not just for parkrunners but for all park users. Thankyou parkrunners.
Please see the post below from Doncaster Parkrun.
BBC Radio Sheffield are wanting to do a ‘good news’ story about the installation of the fitness equipment in the park – is there anyone out there who uses the equipment willing to speak them please?
It’ll be a recorded interview and due to be broadcast Friday. Obviously we’ll be speaking talking anyway but they just wanted the views of someone who uses the equipment.
If you do want to do it just Email us from our contacts page please.
Given the increased interest in the health and fitness facilities in the park – now would be a good time for a reminder of the facilities available to everyone.
