Fakefest 2010 Fakefaces

Fakefaces at Fakefests just go together and it was great to see Sandall Parks (almost) very own Mr Bean and Pavarotti again. Great guys who have supported FoSP at previous charity events.

Quotes from the bands and organisers of Sandall Park Fakefest 2009:

Event organiser Jez Lee said:“Sandall Park as a venue for a Fake Festival is perfect, a well kept park with local community surrounding it is the perfect location for a small music festival such as a Fake Festival. Even though it was the first time we had been to Doncaster with the Festival concept it did not disappoint, perfect weather and most importantly a terrific turnout by Doncaster residents certainly made the Festival a day to remember. Local bands were fantastic and the tributes certainly entertained into the evening. A pleasure to be there”

Shane Crofts (lead singer with Coldplace)“We have performed at numerous Fake Festivals over the years but Sandall Park has to be the best, I don’t think I have ever heard a crowd sing so loud back to us. It was absolutely awesome to be up there on stage with a crowd so responsive”

Frank Farkas (lead singer with New2)“Sandall Park Rockfest was certainly a top night for us as a band, we have performed at loads of places all over the UK and Europe but you couldn’t beat the atmosphere inside that marquee on Saturday night. A truly terrific turnout from Doncaster and a pleasure to entertain”

Dean (Lead singer with Antarctic Monkeys)“Didn’t expect that from the first Fake Festival in Doncaster, well done to all those involved and to those who turned out to see us, we loved every minute of it and hope to be back sometime in the future”
