At tonight’s FoSP meeting the 100 Club was drawn and the winners were:
62 – Hughes;
83 – M Smith;
99 – E Hughes.

Mindfulness with Eshranie


A very enjoyable afternoon was had with Eshranie (Click here for her Facebook page) for some mindfulness and yoga in the #QuietGarden with Andys Man Club (Click here for their Facebook page). 
This was courtesy of funding from the Well Doncaster community investment funding. Perfect timing for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.

Take 10 To Read and Relax


It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and we are supporting Doncaster Stories in encouraging people to take 10, and take some time to read.

Take 10 to relax. Books for all and also something different for the grown ups for a bit of quiet time. 
Take a walk in the park and see if you can find one.  💚 They have been left at various locations. When you’ve read it, return it for someone else to read?

FREE! Holistic Fitness Sessions

We are live with the booking form for Isiasha’ s FREE holistic fitness sessions in the quiet garden.
There are 19 more sessions to book up to the 18th of September.
We want EVERYONE to feel that they can attend the sessions and we will provide chairs and fitness mats.
There is also wheelchair access along Hawthorne alley between the park and the old golf course, to access the quiet garden. The FREE sessions are for all abilities from age 8 years to adult.
There are 14 places per session.
We will provide water at the sessions.
There is a first aider at all sessions.
All we ask is that you wear fitness clothing or comfy clothing and sensible footwear. Everything else you need is on the booking form.
This is an enjoyable session and you can do as much or as little as you want.
*Please cancel any sessions that you can’t attend to give someone else a chance to go.
We hope to see you there 💚
We recieved funding from Well Doncaster community investment fund to be able to put on these sessions.
*For some future sessions we may get an indoor space close by, if the weather is bad.

Mental Health Awareness Week

9th – 15th May is Mental Health Awareness Week. What better way to relax your mind than to take a walk in the park.
Sandall Park is the perfect place to Pause and Reconnect: to allow your mind to be calm for a short while. The Quiet Garden provides a perfect place to start your Mindfulness Exercises and to finish feeling relaxed and ready for the day. Take a look at some of the information on our website:
