Don’t for get the BIG Lunch this Sunday (7th) – organised by the Halifax and in aid of Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice.
This is a free to enter event. You can bring your own food an drink and enjoy the attractions….. or just come and enjoy the park. Starts 12 noon.
Last Saturdays parkrun saw 122 complete the course.
That is 88 consecutive parkrun’s in Sandall Park – and never missing a week!
That is some dedication by both runners and especially the volunteers who make it happen.
Great for the park and great for the soul!
The Yorkshire Post are running a campaign to clean up God’s own county…………
We will do our best to be part of the campaign – we supported the Grande Depart and we supported the Tour de Yorkshire (even if it didn’t come through Doncaster – maybe next year?)
Our big day will come on Monday 8th June at 10.00 in the main car park when our illustrious band of volunteers will attack the park (metaphorically speaking of course) to ensure it is spotless following Sundays BIG Lunch.

The Sandall Park parkrun goes from strength to strength. Last Saturdays run had 126 complete the course.
This is all great for the park and of course for park visitors with yet another event for the take part in or even to watch and be inspired.
Well done to parkrun and especially the volunteers who make it happen EVERY Saturday morning at 9am – come rain or shine!
Our annual event will be a little different this year on 2.30pm Sunday 21st June 2015. The event is FREE!
There will not be a big sound system for 2015 so we have moved the location to down by the lake – it should be great atmosphere. Bring your own chairs, food and drink and have a great time listening to the Doncaster Concert Band and the Doncaster Music Service Senior Brass Group.
PARKING: This will be at a premium as there will be even more events taking place in the park on this day. We recommend using the industrial estate slightly up towards the racecourse – on the left. Then make the short walk across to the park.
Another superb day in the park and what a turnout!
The weather got better as the day went on and the numbers increased to see another stunning line up. Well done Fake Festivals for another great event and thankyou for coming to Sandall Park.
A huge thankyou to everyone who supported this event in the park.
