At tonight’s FoSP meeting the 100 Club was drawn and the winners were:

62 – Hughes;

83 – M Smith;

99 – E Hughes.

Thank you everyone for supporting our 100 Club. We do have a few numbers spare if you’d like to join. It helps keep our group running.

Thank you so much to all our volunteers, to the council’s neighbourhood teams, to 558 Squadron ATC from Finningley and all the people who came to the park to enjoy the wonderful day that it was. Thank you Doncaster Stories for over 200 free books given out!

Fab weather and fab visitors to the park makes for a fantastic Egg Hunt and Hook a Duck Championships. Every picture tells a story:

Fabulous Night Out!

Thank you so much everyone who supported, contributed donated and attended our Social Evening – raising funds for our Changing Place.

Here’s a breakdown of what we raised: £622.50 tickets sold; £235 raffle; £59.20 donation buckets (thanks to Lynne for the lovely free buffet she provided with people making a donation)

£100 donated by Louise (Rise Adaptations) on the night; £155 Ben’s signed book auction.

Total (less room hire) = £1,064.10!

It’s an amazing amount and we hope you enjoyed the evening.

A massive thanks to Annabell Tang our little drummer – she was incredible, to Bellicious for fabulous performances of belly dancing, to Undercover who are an excellent band and entertainers, to April for her excellent quiz, and to Jenny Dewsnap for a brilliant job of keeping the night flowing.

Special thanks to our Guest of Honour Ben Parkinson. He had everyone in stitches with his antics. He didn’t have a go at the belly dancing as promised, but we were so glad he could be there. Thanks for supporting us Ben!

All in all, a fabulous night. Thank you.

Fundraising Social Event

Armthorpe Community Centre, Church Street Armthorpe DN3 3AG. We hope you will join us for an evening of lovely entertainment by Bellicious Belly Dance Troupe and Undercover live band. There will also be a quiz. Bar (but no food included). Tickets are £7.50, under 12’s free, and all funds raised will go to the developments in the park. Tickets can be obtained from any group member; by emailing sandallpark@gmail.com or message us on Facebook.
